The Stafford and Stone Green Party is an independent branch of the Green Party representing the constituencies of Stafford & Stone. Working closely with the North Staffordshire Green Party and other ‘green’ groups to promote environmental responsibility, social justice and sustainable economics.
Come along to our monthly meetings which are friendly and informative including a different discussion topic every month.
Our meetings are currently held at the County Staff Club, Eastgate Street, Stafford.

NO to Stafford Western By-Pass/Access Road
Stafford and Green Party opposes yet more road building and calls for the monies to be spent on improved public transport.
All of the proposed routes will have a negative impact on local residents and the local nature reserve 'Doxey Marshes'. It will impact the countryside around 'The Castle' area and potentially open the area up for yet more houses. (More)

Plenty" say Stafford Greens
To coincide with National Road Safety Week, which started on Monday 23rd November, the Green Party in Stafford is calling for reductions in speed limits. Responding to reports that the government will be reducing speed limits in residential areas and around schools, Stafford and Stone Green Party has called for the measures to go even further. 2nd Birthday Party and AGM
Stafford and Green Party was in high spirits as it celebrated its 2nd Birthday at its AGM
This is been an exciting 2nd year for Stafford and Stone Green Party. A year in which we have witnessed our best and most exciting election results ever!
The party is now looking forward to contesting the General Election and the implementation of a Target To Win strategy.

Film Nights Launched
Film and Discussion night on Green thinking and politics has been launched.
The ‘Green Film Nights’ has been another successful initiative, similar to the 'Green Reading Group', giving people the chance to educate them selves in green thinking and political ideas. Films viewed so far include Ken Loach's “Land and Freedom” and "What the Bleep?!"

The Results are now in and we are pleased to report for the following:

Our Average vote across Staffordshire was 10%
